How much do Regional Theatre Employees Make?

I was wondering if any of you knew the ballpark range of what employees at the nation's most presitigous regional theatres...ie...Arena Stage...the Goodman Theatre, etc...make...liek the Artistic Director, Literary Manager, people like that.

also depends on size of house and what the contracts/agreements include (if the jobs you list are union jobs)-- my guess is Margo would be one to shed some real light

Educated guess:

Artistic Director at Goodman (Bob Falls)- $100,000 (plus royalties on shows he directs)

Literary Manager -$50,000

Artistic/Managing Directors at LORT As & Bs could make around $100,000. I know a couple who fit this bill.

It's completely dependent upon the contract. There's no real precedent for their pay scale. But, artistic directors at the more prestigious regional theatres could make well up into six figures since their decisions pull in millions for their producers.

I do contract work at a regional theatre as a stage manager
and from what I understand stage managers, music directors, and other contract workers for the main part of the production made 500 a show. Orchestra members make at the most 250
this is just the one I am at too so
