Sporkgoddess, but it isn't really a circle. Spring is the beginning of life and winter is when it dies -- to be reborn the next year in spring again. Spring is definitely the "youngster".

Although they got it all wrong on Howdy Doody with Princess SummerFallWinterSpring.

(That last remark is strictly for the other boomers among us)

Unfortunately R&H removed Liat's song toward the end of Act 2.
