i have an audition coming up for How to Succeed and i was wondering what would be a good song to do. i thinking about going for Rosemary. i'm a mezzo-soprano and i can hit a low C to a C 2 octaves above middle but i generaly stay between a low E and a high A. thanks!

I just directed this show and have played Finch in the past. I would recomend an older Broadway song(a ballad if you can that shows off your range). Your range sounds good for Rosemary.

David walked into the valley With a stone clutched in his hand He was only a boy But he knew someone must take a stand There will always be a valley Always mountains one must scale There will always be perilous waters Which someone must sail -Into the Fire Scarlet Pimpernel

I'm in this show right now, as Miss Jones! "Poor Sweet Baby", from Snoopy, is a very Rosemary-ish song.
