How to get NYTW preview tickets?

I'm hoping to get tickets to one of the first two previews of How To Defend Yourself. The website says tickets will be on sale on January 11, but that tickets for the first two previews (which are $25 each) will not be available for purchase online. Do I need to call the box office to purchase these tickets?

It says "We are sorry but this event cannot be booked online."

They won't be available to purchase until the general on-sale date, which is January 11, and you should be able to purchase them online. Subscribers don't get early access.

The OP was asking about the first two previews specifically, and I explained why they're not available. Since they're CheapTix, they don't give early access to members.
