My apologies, jordangirl. I never saw the show before last night. I thought the line was funny.
tgn915, the guys sound great. I didn't even bother with the stage door last night..I kinda assumed that they wouldn't come out until much later because it was the last show. Plus it was pretty damn cold last night. Maybe that's why Jenni and Sara decided not to stay long.

Posted: 1/21/08 at 2:20pmIt's ok. It is funny! :) I always loved looking at the speller's face when they got that word. :)
LIVE THAT LESSON!!!!!!

I noticed in this song that Marcy doesn’t have her frilly pink panties on like in I Speak Six Languages, so that made me wonder when she has the time to slip them on out of audience view.
She's offstage during MUE, I *think* that is when this happens.
How was the rush situation for Spelling Bee? What time did people start arriving?
Did not rush myself, but in talking to those who did apparently those who got the rush bench seats were on line from midnight to 8am.

Neither of them were fired.
A while ago (towards the beginning of 07) they chose not to renew the contracts of the remaining Original Cast members and bring in the SF cast for much less money.

Posted: 1/21/08 at 2:52pmI was there! So so so SO great! I stood in the lobby for too long before the show trying to take everything in. Then went to our seats. I agree with everyone here. Olive's voice WAS a bit soft but really brought all the attention on her. I LOVED all the guest speller jokes and new words that I havent heard yet! (especially "apoop", i was hysterical!) I did think that Logainne and Marcy's vocals were a bit off but what can you expect from the last show? The best part of the entire show was the I Love You Song. I started balling half way through and was completely floored once they sang a capella. I am so glad the audience responded so well to that. Usually when i see it, it slows the show down but it made the show so much more emotional and beautiful. I couldnt scream at the end from the lump in my throat. Great job by all and we will miss you Spelling Bee!

To answer a previous question, the earliest rusher was actually my friend who was there at midnight I believe.
Oh, and another question: Instead of catarjunes, they used another made up word, which IMO was funnier. Anyone know when they started using that word instead of catarjunes, cause I hadn't heard it before at all.

Oh, and one of the understudies came up and asked if anyone would want a dictionary the cast received as an opening night present, and I gladly took it off her hands. :)

Nice pix!
OK, so you're in iPhoto, I assume? When you select a photo, just go to "rotate." It's on the bottom, very first icon, next to "edit."
When you upload them, select from the "Modified" folder, not the "Originals" folder.

"The producer DID, in fact, thank some of the OBC for "creating" the show."
Well, that was very polite of him, but apparently, they didn't get very much actual love. One of my friends knows someone in the original cast and apparently, David Stone made them PAY for house seats if they wanted to be there. Later, the limp party was at the HARMONY VIEW, practically a dive bar, and there was no food served.
This guy made money from this show. The least he could have done to thank the original cast was to allow them to bow too/sing the last good bye song, or at the VERY least, invite them to come for FREE and ask them to take a stand. Call me crazy.
