How will they do Shrek The Musical?????

I think that would be kinda hard! Would it be like The Lion King with the full body puppets??? How do you think they should or will do it???

Is it still even happening?

I spoke to David Lindsay-Abaire a couple of months ago and he was working hard on the book, so it's still happening.

If they make it a total tongue-in-cheek camp-fest, I think this could be really funny, actually.

The only way I can see it being somewhat feasible is with heavy prosthetics and Elphaba-esque make-up for Shrek. For Donkey, I see the same thing as a Doctor Dillamond style of make-up. And as for the dragon, I can definitely picture a more animated, cartoony version of the big Wicked dragon.

Yes, I realize those are all from Wicked, but shut up. :)

I think it's possible to do. The little girl that I act with in a community theatre auditioned for the show, so it's definitely still happening.

there would be intresting costumes...maybe they could get eddy murphy to be in it too! overall i belive it would be like barney on ice kind of thing~dilan
