Howard McGillin returns!!

Howard, and his wonderful, soaring bari-tenor voice, returns tonight as the Phantom. Nice to know there is still some tradition on Bway and not just 23 1/2 yo's in Disney shows.

But I am still mad I didn't get to see John Cudia!

He was out the day I went to Phantom when he played Raoul. And I didn't get to see him as the Phantom. At least I saw him in Bryant Park.

God bless Howard McGillin for being with the production for so many performances.

He was the Phantom I saw, and I thought he was amazing. I think it's great when you get fantastic people able to thrive and perform in roles for long periods--Sandra Joseph, Steve Blanchard, Randall Keith, Carolee Carmello.

Also Marilyn Caskey. She played Mme. Giry for quite some time, and I expect her to return to it after Gypsy. She also played Carlotta.

yay! He is amazing!! He was the first phantom I ever saw and I had the chance to meet him a few times in his dressing room and he is also sooo nice!

I have to agree...I'd love for John Cudia to have stayed much longer!
