Does anyone know if the song "Howl at the Moon" will be in the upcoming musical Shrek. There's a vid on YouTube of Andy Karl performing it; but it's my understanding that it was from a different composer...??
Just curious, I think it's a great song.

Shame. It really captures the spirit of the story for me.
Are there any demos of Abaire/Tesori's stuff kicking around?

Posted: 7/8/08 at 4:54pmI also really liked "Fire Hot Lady" and "Howl at the Moon", I really wish O'Keefe would've gotten the project, I feel like he really understood the tone that I thought the show should have.

I never said anything about Tesori or her skills, she's a wonderful composer. I was just disappointed to hear O'Keefe didn't actually get the job since I really, really loved the songs i'd heard.

Ummm....since when is SHREK a wolf?
And how much "howling" exactly did anyone expect to be in the Broadway version???
Nice song. Talented performer. Wrong show.
