Fantasia and Jennifer both sing there faces off and both would bring amazing vocals to the role..we know this. HOWEVER, lets talk about the essence of Effie White. the fued that sparks btwn deena and effie is looking more interesting to me now that Hudson has been cast. She has the "built in" fire about her that fantasia may have needed to find. Hudson's Effie pitted against Deena just sounds sooo much more thrilling and exciting to watch play out. the girl oozez a natural swift can of whoop azz! talk about "It's all over" fireworks! I'd rather have an Effie that needs to be toned down than one that needs to be amped up. Jennifer is the right choice because of this.

I was like what does jennifer hudson as effie have to do with actor dean jones. Is this a comparison to old disney movies. I guess the str8 guy inside me came out first then the gay one was like oh deena jones, haha.
