Hugh Jackman 'in talks' to star in 'Ferrari' film next year - what does that do for Music Man?

It's being reported today that Hugh Jackman is in talks to star in the biopic 'Ferrari' by Michael Mann, playing Enzo Ferrari, the luxury race car maker. Principal photography is slated for Spring, 2021.

I'm curious where that leaves 'The Music Man' ? If it gets pushed to next Spring or Summer (at the earliest), would filming of 'Ferrari' jeopardize his return to B'way ?

I know right now it says he's in 'talks', so things can still change, but if it goes through I'm curious about MM.

This is the original news carried by Deadline.com ( already reported on the other Music Man thread) --

https://deadline.com/2020/06/hugh-jackman-ferrari-michael-mann-movie-stx-amazon-cannes-1202962040/

Hugh has been sort of attached to the Michael Mann project since 2017 or so -- but it was on hold for sometime, presumably because of funding requirements.  This has been 4-time Oscar nominee Michael Mann's dream project supposedly for more than a decade. It seems the project has now been revived due  to the recent success of FordVFerrari movie (where Mann was an Exec Producer)... and due to interest from Amazon and STX on the current film project... Deadline  reports that "Jackman and Mann have already read through some of the film’s most potent scenes." ( maybe to show as clips at the Cannes virtual film market? )  The Cannes film market presentation is on Thursday and is reported by both Deadline & Hollywood Reporter to be one of the hottest property on offer.

On the other thread, there have been many reports that refund requests for The Music Man ( some as far as February tickets) were honored, without question.  It could be that Rudin is simply waiting for a little more time before making any announcement on the status of the project? But it seems that a delay is inevitable, given the prospects of Jackman being involved in a major movie next spring?

Sorry if I’m becoming a bit of a bore on the subject - but with Broadway almost certainly not being safe enough to return until February or March at the earliest, and with TV and film production starting to resume over the next month or so, I’m doubling (or tripling) down on my prediction that The Music Man gets delayed by a full year (at least)...

....thereby allowing Jackman to film this entire movie (and possibly even something else as well), allowing Sutton to film the next season (or two) of Younger, and then rescheduling Music Man for an opening in late fall 2021, or even spring 2022 (assuming it still happens at all), after Broadway is definitively 100% safely up and running, hopefully after a vaccine has been introduced, and presumably after older theatergoers feel more comfortable going to the theater again and tourists have at least started to return to New York.
