Hugh Jackman's wife

I watched the "Inside Actor's Studio" last night. Is Hugh's wife still acting? Does she do stage work in NYC, too? I know they have a son, right?

And, she's about 8 years older than him=--I like that. We "older women" rock! (Remember that you younger guys!)

Deborra-Lee Furness hasn't done any acting since the arrival of the couple's son about 4 years ago. But she wrote and directed a short film last year, entitled "Standing Room Only" which has been making the rounds of film festivals. It was recently announced that when Hugh's run in "The Boy From Oz" ends later this year, the family will return home to Australia where Deb will star in a film. Hugh has been quoted as saying he is looking forward to being Mr. Mum for awhile.

Or, maybe, coincidentally Hugh will also start filming work ( also in Australia) of his rumoured next likely movie project, THE FOUNTAIN, which may be featuring him with fellow Aussie, Cate Blanchett.

I like Hugh a little beefier. He changed his body to look more like Peter Allen.

yes i agree... Van Helsing was filmed before Boy from Oz opened, i assume...

I guess that makes sense. And it actually looks pretty good for horror fans out there...now if someone would only make a decent, hell - a great version of Vampirella - I could die a happier man!

(Laughs her 45-year-old self silly at Dollypop's last remark then takes out her industrial-sized tape measure and at the 100-ft mark carefully adds Dollypop's name to the existing list--right after "TSMrW".)

Of course, Dollypop! A Respectable--and respectful--distance! Being dragged off by ushers and security guards only messes up my make-up and I always loose a shoe or two! I'll just bring my binoculars...
