"What a step up (for intellectual theatre) for Kendra, who will be playing Amy. For all you Wicked fans, the tour's Glinda. I have confidence that she will pull off "Not Getting Married Today" with ease."

Kendra was also in the ensemble in the 2004 revival of "Assasins".

I love Kendra's voice. I can't wait to read reviews and see photos from this production.

Here's are some pre-production photos from last Tuesday's photo shoot for Seattle's "Company". Looks like Hugh will be revisiting his shirtless Raoul days. LOL! Enjoy!

P.S. - There are a couple more photos to be posted, but I ran out of time. I figured some of you fans are interested, so I did the best I could. So, I guess this is just a teaser. :)

I like how they are using pictures of Barrowman from DC on the 5th Avenue website. Wonder how they are getting away with that.

EDIT: I also hope they give his hair a trim. I don't think the shaggy look is flattering on him. Updated On: 10/3/06 at 12:11 AM

I'm jealous. Hugh has bigger breasts than me.

Just got back from tonight's performance.

It's a great production - I put a more specific review in the Seattle board. But Hugh is excellent as Bobby, and his "Being Alive" left me breathless. Well... that and the fact that he strips to his underwear. re: Hugh Panaro to play Bobby in Company at Seattle's 5th Ave. Theatre

AND Kendra Kassebaum is excellent as Amy.

DayDreamer - Thanks for the little review. Hugh did "Being Alive" as his encore at the Bucks County Cabaret and he got a fantstic response.

There's a very good review of it here:

I'll be seeing this Wednesday night and I really cannot wait.

Thanks, DG! I hadn't been around in a while but in the middle of the night we decided to go to Seattle the next morning so lucky DD posted on the Seattle Board about seeing the show - I had no idea it was running! (Butthead didn't PM me with the head's up! re: Hugh Panaro to play Bobby in Company at Seattle's 5th Ave. Theatrere: Hugh Panaro to play Bobby in Company at Seattle's 5th Ave. Theatre) And the show was so terrific that I HAD to come back to rave about it!

(And it's nice to BE around when I get welcomes like yours, DG!)

Awesome show! I saw the show last Saturday night. Terrific cast all-around. Each couple played their respective quirks quite well. Some reasons to see the show:

1) Hugh singing "Being Alive" and "Someone is Waiting". Very few people can match his vocal talent. Mesmerizing.
2) Kendra as Amy. I can still see a little "Glinda" in her, but she's very amusing and has great comedic timing.
3) Hugh acting stoned onstage. LOL!
4) The cast dancing with top hats and canes...very cute!
5) A bit of eye-candy for everyone. Since Billie and Hugh leaving VERY little to the imagination.

Very sweet and hard working cast. Go see the show if you can. I was fortunate enough to squeeze in a little trip in my busy schedule. And besides, Seattle is a gorgeous city. :)

Yikes.

So the Seattle production of "Company" had not only Hugh Panero, and Shelly Burch, but Kendra Kenssenbaum.

SH*T, that's a great cast. I'm just saying.
