Kangaroo - were you referring to me
I am from the Philippines ( where Lea Salonga comes from) but did have a chance to go to business school in Massachusetts and to work in the financial community in NYC - and that led to my love of the theatre ( Broadway and the West End, mostly). We also have a fairly active theatre community here and one of the repertory companies provided the cast members for many of the Miss Saigon productions worldwide ( such as Lea).
Nope, I am not Australian ( although Australia is located on our side of the world - Manila has a 2 hour time difference with Sydney) but a Filipino from Southeast Asia ( our part of the region fortunately escaped the recent tsunami tragedy).

That's cool you're from the Philipines. I am from Asia myself... just not the same area. I love Lea Salonga, she is my role model.
I wish I had some sort of an accent. American accents are lame... no offense to anyone, I have one too.

I have the whole show, but I have to say, Hugh learned a lot about singing since then... He sounds so much better now!
What a shame...such a great show!
