I have never done one of these "threads", this is the first one.
I am ultimately obsessed with Hunter Foster. I met him after I saw Modern Orthodox, but I originally saw him in Little Shop of Horrors. I fell in love with Broadway because of him.
When I found out he was in The Producers, I was able to go with my mom. But the night we went he was sick, and we were able to get an exchange. When we went, I had made him this CD Cover thing that was a tribute to him. It was so cute cause I attempted to draw Audrey Two and a bunch of Pretzels. Then I told him I have an email address that I made because of him and that I have the same shirt he has.... I recently bought his shirt at the flea market and I won the Audrey Two that he signed at the Bear Auction too (at the Flea Market).
He was either scared or extremely flattered because after we said goodbye he ran away. lol.
When I met Sutton I told her this, and she said he wasn't scared just flattered. I was wearing a sweatshirt that said "Foster" and she asked if that was my last name. I told her no, I put it there because of both of them.
She kinda walked away slowly and cut it short with "Well, it was nice to meet you."
Sooo. What's your favortie show that Hunter (or Sutton) was/is in? And if you haven't seen the show but like the music, what is your favorite song they sing?

I'm a Hunter fan myself. He and his sister are like the Astaire siblings of our generation.
I saw him in Urinetown, Little Shop in Coral Gables with Alice Ripley, and back in Urinetown again as was impressed with every performance.

I've said it before, but I'll say it again:
Hunter was robbed of a Tony Award for his starring performance in URINETOWN, for which he did not even receive a nomination. (John Lithgow won for SWEET SMELL OF SUCCESS).
He can sing, dance, act, and given good material, he can be just as hysterically funny as his sister. (Remember his facial expressions in Run Freedom, Run? Priceless.)
I'm hoping he gets another big break as he did in URINETOWN and receives the necessary awards recognition this time around to make him as hot a commodity as his sister.

My best friend and college roommmate knows Hunter and his wife, Jen. Her mom keeps in touch with them. They lived in her town in Jersey until they moved to New York a couple years ago, and their dogs were in the same puppy playgroup. She's told me a bunch of stories about him. Supposedly, he's not very good at all with face-to-face interaction, so he probably was flattered and just didn't know what to say.
Jen told her a story about Tom Cruise that totally convinced me beyond a doubt that he is gay. That was pretty funny.

I worked with Jen this summer in Cinderella, and Hunter came out to see her.
He's a hottie in person.

Sorry.
Hunter and Jen were at an awards ceremony (I don't remember which one), sitting a few rows behind Tom Cruise. They thought it was odd because they could see Tom Cruise, four or five empty chairs, and then a very attractive man. They think it was his personal trainer. Those seats stayed empty. Then, as soon as the lights went down, Tom stood up, walked past the empty seats, and sat down next to the man.

AudreyTwoTwo, I remember this post from Myspace! Haha, that's hilarious.
Seriously, the Foster children are two of my favorite performers ever. Hunter mainly for his comedic timing & him being a genius of course. Sutton is, of course, the better dancer.
I dreamt the other day that I was cast as Hope in URINETOWN at a local theatre and they couldn't find anyone to play Bobby so they 'called up' Hunter and asked him to do it and I got so freaked out that I dropped out.
...and that was in my dream! Even Dream-Paris is too intimidated by him!

#19re: Hunter Foster Thread!
Posted: 10/7/06 at 8:49pmThe only thing that sucked though was when he was up for a Tony for Seymour, but Hugh won. Then I saw Hugh, and he was absolutely amazing. I think that Hunter needs to win a Tony before his life is through.

Actually, dont you think he would be... er... bi?

Please. Bi is just another word for slutty.
*That was a JOKE, people! All in good fun.*
I suppose he could be bi. But I like believing that he's paying Katie Holmes to have his test tube baby because I think he's an obnoxious idiot and I don't like him.

I love Hunter as well!!! I see him every day (with the exception of Mondays, of coursE) on my way out of work. He's adorable. And so friendly.
I was wondering, I read somewhere that Sutton's middle name is Lenore, but does anyone know Hunter's middle name??? I just love their names and I'd love to know his middle name.
