Certainly here in London we have this thing going on where actors return to their roles that they are best loved for - Ruthie Henshall for example could open in a new show but she's actually returning to Chicago for the second time I think.. she's already played Roxie and Velma and is now back as Velma.
Hunter Foster is a talented guy and I'm pleased to say I saw him in the role of Bobby in Urinetown, and I love his voice on the recording as well.. it's so unique. Obviously it's sad that LSOH fell through (perhaps) but I'm not sure if the return to Urinetown is a good idea. It's like saying "well, there's nothing else to do so I may as well".
I'm probably alone in this but I just think that he should be spreading his wings rather than returning to the show which he has already left and remain for a long time 'Bobby' rather than moving on.

One that he might have planned on being employed in for at least another months -- the end of the Fl run and the opening on Bway. he had planned fror that income, then it was suddenly gone. He needs to work to eat.

It's a show in which he happens to be very good, and until the next thing comes along, it doesn't hurt to return to a cast that with Hunter's return, features 14 out of its 16 original cast members, including his wife, Jennifer Cody.
