After seeing close to 400 plays and musicals, I finally saw "Rent" last night. Got 13th row orchestra for $30 from TDF.I was embarassed picking them up.I told the ticket guy."Close to 20 yrs of theatre going and I'm finally seeing "Rent."
I loved the show but I thought I was at a ballgame. I've never been at a show where people were constantly getting up to go the bathroom or bring beers back to their seats. At least a "Lets Go Rent" chant didn't break out.
I can see why you all love the music and performances.
