I'm gonna join on the missing Margo bandwagon.

I suspect that Margo is doing fine. She is healthy and has use of her fingers to type as she posted on at least one other site just two days ago. Perhaps she simply needs a break from BWW. It happens.

So we don't have to plan another BWW Memorial Service...yet.
I know I'm new to the site, but I've been reading the message board for awhile. The reviews are not the same without Margo's opinion and grace. Plus all the other info is simply amazing. I can only hope for half the theater knowledge someday. If Margo is under the weather, I want to say GWS.
MargoChanning is one of the most educated and experienced theatre experts I've ever 'known' (albeit only on the Internet). His writings on a number of different subjects, all to do with the theatre, have been so fascinating in content and beautifully well written that I've saved copies of them so I can go back and reread them. He last posted on this website on 4/24. He posted over at All That Chat on 5/05. It looks like he may just be fed up with this place. I hope it's only temporary or I may have to move back over there just to get my dose of Channing wisdoms!
Similar to the way that the audience applause brings Tinkerbell back to life in PETER PAN, I think that if people stroke Margo's ego enough, he'll happily resurface and get back in gear (and put everyone else back in their respective places).
I'm on this bandwagon, too. Margo, we miss you, and hope you are OK! We have rather been in a slough of despond lately without you. Hurry back.
Now the truth comes out! She has been getting a little "work" done.
Damn you, Keene. Now I have that wretched song in my head!
I DO BELIEVE IN MARGO! I DO BELIEVE IN MARGO! *claps frantically*
And would rather like to have him back please. Am frankly a little disgusted at certain immature responses in this thread; precisely why this board needs as many MargoChannings as it can get!
Some people are just jealous of Ms. Channing's knowledge and grace.

Which comments did you think were over the line?
I think the title of this thread should be the title of his autobiography:

I definately wish to join the MargoChanning fan wagon. His reviews are always a joy to read and his knowledge is abosolutely second to none.
A fabulous man with fabulous tastes and knowledge. Wher the hell are you, damnit?

I miss Margo.
I really didn't notice he was gone. I just thought I've been on threads where he isn't putting his take in.
COME HOME MARGO!
EDIT: Wow. He's been gone since Apr. 24th. That's a long time...

It's mentioned on the first page of this thread where Margo is and what's going on.

I too am a great fan of Margot Channing. The knowledge and style of the posts is superb.
I hate the fact that some one has shattered my illusions about Margot. I'd always imagined Margot as a stylish lady of a certain age, perhaps with a husky voice. It won't be quite the same when s/he returns
I have to admit, I've also made note of Margo's posts and always look forward to reading them. So much so that when this press release came out last week I read it and then went to his/her myspace and poked around. S/he is doing a show which may explain the absence. And no, I don't work for Margo (which apparently is spelled MargOH?) Uh oh. Please don't tell me there are two Margo Channing's in NYC...

I miss Margo as well. Not only is he a wonderful and though provoking writer of reviews, but he is KIND. He doesn't talk down to anybody on the boards. His knowledge is incredible and he's a sultry vixen.
I hope Margo gets better soon. WE MISS YOU, MARGO!!

This is a joke, right?
I don't think so; there is that person who posts as MargOHChanning. And....clearly not the same person.
You still have Rathnait62. Count your blessings.
