Can someone help me out...
I want to know all there is about "I Sing." I just ordered the CD offline and am waiting for it to come in the mail. i was wondering about this production. Has it ever been staged in an actual production, not concert style. Are the rights available? If so, how do you get them? Did anyone see this show? Thanks.
I have the recording of "I SING" and absolutely love it. If you go to the website (www.isingthemusical.com) there is quite a bit of info. It has been staged several times as actual productions. You can also get info on how to get copies of the music, as well as how to obtain production rights for the show. The writers of "I SING" have a great future ahead of them (they're only in their early 20s!)

I on the other hand, had a chance to listen to the recording and absolutely hated it. No memorable tunes, mediocre lyrics, banal plot. hmm, you'll have to listen for yourself.

Oh thanks, didn't realize they had a website. i'll check it out. can't for my copy to come in the mail!!
I agree with both Attendthetale and FranklinShepard. The show has it's faults, but for the authors writing it when they were 19 and 20, it's a pretty amazing feat. The opening song is catchy as hell, and there are some great moments. It's very William Finn-esque. You can tell that they'll be making some great musical theatre in the future.
