"I am What I am" Sung by a Woman

Posted: 4/28/08 at 12:54amI first discovered this song when I was in middle school and going through my "awkward stage" (as many other posters on here did as well). It was on one of those "Broadway's Greatest Hits" albums and it was sung by a woman. So my first introduction to the song was with a woman singing and it definitely spoke to me. I've always found it to be an anthem for everyone.

With Clay Aiken in Spamalot, all of Broadway is singing a collective "There! Right! There!" -Me-
"Not Barker, Todd is the only person I've ever known who could imitate Katherine Hepburn...in print." -nmartin-
