I get Seat: ROW A, SEAT 105 - Centre Orchestra. Is that too close?
The Theatre is Broadway theatre.
I've heard it's a high stage so maybe

there only 136, so should I get them? would you?
Only 136?
The stage is high, even with the pit.
And she's low to the ground.

I can get front row seats for promises, promises with Kristin Chenowth?
As opposed to who? Robin Leach?
If the stage is the same height as it was with Shrek, you don't want to pay full price to sit there. It is really high and hard to see.

I hate the front row for any show. I wouldn't pay $10 to see a show from the front row. 1/2 to 2/3 of the way back in the orch. That's where you want to be. That's where the director sits when in tech same goes for the designers. Some people like the front....but I don't get it. Especially for musicals, you need to move back to see the big picture. Front row of the mezz or balcony maybe but not the orch.

I sat in the front row for Shrek on the Right side...it is very high and difficult to see...especially if you are short. The Center would be much better.
I actually have A-111/112 for next Monday night for Promises. I honestly don't care...I mean it's front row...which is just a good experience. I love being right up in the actor's face personally.
I love front row - it makes me feel like I'm in the show. However, for Kristin Chenoweth, it will probably look like a crow has walked over her face!
I'd get them if you like the experience of being right near the actors.
I saw Promises from front row center and the stage is definitely higher than your line of sight. Thus you will have a somewhat obstructed view of things that occur towards the rear of the stage.
On the other hand, most of the action occurs towards the front of the stage and you'll probably never have a chance to see Kristin so up close and personal again.
I didn't mind the seat at all but some of us just like to be near the actors. I remember seeing 42nd Street from the front row and I was so close to Jerry Orbach that I could see the spit flying out of his mouth as he sang.
I sat in the front row for Avenue Q when it first opened after winning the lottery - I've never seen a happier group of people - we were all on Cloud 9.
I also won the lottery for front row at West Side Story last year - and that stage is HIGH - we couldn't see the performers feet - and that show is 65% dancing! But ... we did only pay $25 or whatever for the tickets.
If you're paying full price for front row at Promises, Promises ... I'd decline and get other seats. Is this a real question?
