Hi, my name is Roman. I'm 44 years of age and live in the liberal oasis of Central Texas, known as Austin. I'm a big fan of Patti LuPone. It has been my pleasure to meet her in person several times. First time: November 2000 in Austin, Texas.. It was fantastic. Second time: January 2001 in Dallas, Texas (I took pictures, but the film got ruined.) Third time: (sort of) June 2001 in San Francisco. Actually, outside of the performance hall (where she did "Sweeney"). She was in her limo and getting ready to leave. I did see her perform with Mandy Patinkin in Richardson, Texas (2002). Some sow-woman didn't let me see Miss Patti. Fourth time: (November 2003) I did see her backstage, following her concert perf in Houston, Texas.. March 2005: I did go to Washington, D.C. and see her perform as "Regina Giddens" in "Regina" at the Kennedy Center. I was unable to see her in person, as she was in "total vocal silence." She had a concert in NYC two days later. Now, I'm going to NYC from March 14 --17 to see her in "Sweeney Todd" and see her backstage after the show. I'm sooooo excited to be going to the Big Apple.
