Three new IDs. Three new ALL CAPS posters with 15 year old grammar and temperments. Nah... couldn't be one person. You'd have to be really, really clever to create three different screen names.

For the first time ever... you're talking wicked.

PS - You're an ass. G'Head, tell people on a message board that they have no life when you in fact are right here with us. You're so ABOVE all of us. I envy you.

let me just clarify that I actually LOVE wicked, but what I dislike are posts that say nothing more than WICKED ROCKS!
While I am very happy to hear you enjoy the show, it would be more to the point of a message board to articulate WHY you liked the show. And it is also an important part of a message board system to be able to deal with it when someone doesnt agree with you or replies with criticism for something you adored. For example, I think Idina and Kristen are both great and do a fine job but some of the smaller roles in the show like Fiyero are under written. His character is a typical shallow guy makes good, much like Link in Hairspray but in Hairspray's case we see smaller indications of good character (girls, theres no need to be cruel) and inner turmoil (its just getting too complicated, and theres still amber) before he becomes the prince charming. Fiyero goes from Dancing Through Life and laughing at Elphaba at the dance to saying shes been Galinda-fied and helping her save a lion in class... thats quite a jump.

Deep.

"I'm learning to dig deep down inside and find the truth within myself and put that out. I think what we identify with in popular music more than anything else is when someone just shares a truth that we can relate to. That's what I'm searching for in my music." - Ron Bohmer

"I broke the boundaries. It wasn't cool to be in plays- especially if you were in sports & I was in both." - Ashton Kutcher

I know, it seems to have gone way over everyones head. God forbid we attempt to locate any continuity issues with The Wizard Of Oz movie, I wouldnt want anyones head to explode from thinking too hard.

I also don't have a problem with the well articulated proponents of Wicked, nor do I have a problem with Wicked itself. I am just sick of hearing about Wicked. I have watched the obssession progress since December. There are those who liked Wicked, and then there are the "Wicked Minions" (as I fondly like to refer to them) that are obssessed with every move Idina or Cheno makes. Many of the threads that are started have been hashed and rehashed, or could even be combined into one thread...do we really need a new thread every time they adlib on stage, for example (I am not going to go into that argument, because I am trying to get another point across) I wish I could avoid it, but the 'Wicked Minions" talk about Wicked in threads that aren't even about Wicked. The point is if you liked Wicked great, but don't go around saying it is the be all end all when it hasn't stood the test of time. I will probably see it at some point and will probably enjoy it. I however don't plan on seeing it for a long, long time because my opinion will be swayed by my irritation at the proliferation of pointless wicked threads.

Amen to Son_of_a_Gunn_25.

Only, sadly, I can say this, I wasn't able to avoid seeing it after all this irritation.

I was there Opening night and I loved it, but at that time no one else had seen it and it wasn't a big deal so I was able to enjoy it without being subject to the ilovewickedmorethanlife and the nothingisbetterthanwickedEVER people.

I saw it again in...Feb or March I don't remember...I liked it then too. Then once I started seeing all this WICKED ROCKS stuff I slowly got more and more annoyed and when my friend had me go see it for her birthday with her last week, I was just so annoyed and sick of it that I kept thinking "My God this show is ruined for me now."

And hang on, when did you win the discus?
