I had a dream that Stephen Sondheim died. It was on the news. Very upsetting. I know that someday this will happen, but I just can't imagine facing it.
Sort of related: I had seen both Bebe Neuwirth and Kelsey Grammer in shows lately and am a huge "Cheers" fan. One night I had a dream that I met John Ratzenberger, Ted Danson, and George Wendt on the street in NYC. The next day I started to tell the story as if it really happened. It took me a moment to realize that it was just a dream. I hate the dreams that seem real. I'm sorry that you had that horrible dream, sondheimfan2!
This is a horrible dream that will sadly become reality someday
"TO LOVE ANOTHER PERSON IS TO SEE THE FACE OF GOD"- LES MISERABLES---
"THERE'S A SPECIAL KIND OF PEOPLE KNOWN AS SHOW PEOPLE... WE'RE BORN EVERY NIGHT AT HALF HOUR CALL!"--- CURTAINS
My title was a take on "Some People", but I wasn't making light of the dream. So bizarre to have this dream. I guess it's a way a preparing myself for the inevitable.
"I know that someday this will happen, but I just can't imagine facing it."
I think you might need a little perspective in your life if you can't imagine facing the death of someone you don't even know personally.
"Everyone knows that Elaine, Steve, Angie and Chita come together every nine years, sacrifice a virgin and so buy themselves nine more years on earth."
Interesting math. Four of them only need one virgin for an additional nine years apiece? Such a deal! Does this mean they all die at the same time? They better not ever get on the same plane together...
