i would guess all you'd really need is like a living room set? I've never seen the show, only have the recording, but I think just like a couch, a coffee table or like a couple chairs or something would work. not too fancy.

The real show does it as simply a table w/ tablecloth with a few casual restaurant settings and 2 chairs. The chairs are situated directly stagle left and right of the table. Table is pretty much center, perhaps a little bit stage left.

Think very simple. The entire set for the actual show is formed from simple props and sets. I would agree with WalveMalve in sticking close to the show. Use a table and chairs. Placement will depend on what you want to do with the song since it is a Variety Show. You can play with that once you know how much room you will have/need/want to make the song effective. Good Luck, the music from that show is fantastic.
