I'm in love with SHOW PEOPLE magazine

I'm in love with the magazine. I've read every issue from Cover to cover. I was especially excited about the Dramatic Duos article in this past issue. The website is cool too, with frequent poll questions and a new forum to chat.

I subscribed but never got any issues. After 5 calls to customer service I finally got my money back. Boo Show People!

Yeah, the website sucks, which is fine cause it's a magazine... But the actual magazine is all fluff, little content. And they're had horrible luck... Hilary Swank on the cover, a feature story with Alice as Audrey... I wish them well, but the whole "lifestyle" angle is odd (Do I really care about Michael Crawford's sailboating?)

It's fine, but not vital. Pretty pictures, I guess :) I hear they're losing a lot of money, however, so you may want to avoid subscribing. I'm still waiting for my "InTheater" subscription to start!!!

Hey- some magazines have great web sites. Tis' what I do for a day job living, lol. But, I agree that Show People's could certainly use some work. I dunno if theatergal works for them or not.

DR...or the pharmacy that has taken over every NY street corner that isn't already occupied by a Starbucks....LOL!...I agree 100%!

They have had some terrible luck. It's a shame that they can't send perhaps a smaller magazine more times a year so that the information would be more current.

I also love the magazine, but it doesn't really have much about whats currently going on in the theatre world. Like someone said before....do I really care about Mr. Crawford's sailboating?

I also enjoy Showtime. Some of the articles are good some fluff.

SHOW PEOPLE magazine is lame. Bring back SHOW MUSIC--a magazine that had great articles about musical theater--not about fluff.

I like Show People magazine but I don't love it. For a magazine that is only distributed 4 times a year it is very thin and lacking in many areas.

They should either add much more to each seasonly issue, or make it a monthly magazine as opposed to seasonly. I prefer a magazine who's articles really grab my attention. Show People doesn't do that for me.

I find Show People pretentious in the big picture. But what I really find FUNNY is that they show off that Hilary Swank issue in their banner ads up on the top of this site. Are they proud of their bad judgment?!?
