Did anyone see Wild Party when it was Off-Bway??
I saw it on Thursday night @ the Boston Conservatory and it was awesome!! The music is greatand fun story also!

I would have loved to see Julia, Taye and Idina in it!

Why does everyone always insist on asking which version people are referring to when they mention "The Wild Party"? As far as I'm concerned, there's only one version.

I don't know if you are being sarcastic or not, so I am just going to answer it anyway. There was the off-broadway version which was from ANDREW LIPPA and then there was a broadway version which was from MICHAEL LACHUISA. Both opened the same season.

I have the cast recording of both and both have it's moments but I just like Lippa's a lot better.

COME ON. Both shows are great. LaChiusa has Mandy and Eartha in it...and, as we all know by now, they are flawless.

yes, idina is in the lippa one (which has superior music, i think), but the lachuisa is so much more complexly written, i think. and, who can resist matt_g's man playing gay?
