I saw a funny thing at BLITHE SPIRIT OPENING NIGHT.

Before seeing the atrocious HAIR (I'll probably review it sometime in another thread), me and my girlfriend had time to kill. There was some commotion at Shubert Theatre. It was opening night. The few people I recognized going in were Rachel Dratch, Cheyenne Jackson, David Hyde Pierce, Raul Esparza and some others. There was a barracaded off section for VIPs to walk in. So I noticed a couple walking to this barracaded off section, the guy had EXTREME plastic surgery on his face, I mean piles and piles of plastic on his face and he looked awful, he was with some girl who dressed like a lampshade. Basically, they wanted to look as Hollywood as they could. So they try to go in through the VIP section but they aren't allowed, because they aren't on some list. They look notably upset, and run to the box office and get tickets. While they are getting their tickets, all the VIPs have already entered so the crew are breaking down the barracades and folding up the carpet. So this couple runs back to the VIP section and try to walk in that way, even though they could'v easily walked through the "normal" way, which would've been quicker for them. They both look notably upset while they're walking through the shambles that is the VIP walkway.

All in all, it was gross.

That was hilarious. I did not know that Catholics use weed as their incense. Good one, really
