I've Never Sung Before

Thanks, Does anyone else have a suggestion? Or any suggestions on just sing in general? Ive been attempting to sing, but it seems to me like im tightening my throat when i sing, then cant, but i do not know how im doing it, or to prevent from doing it. Can any one help?
