I'm 17 and I've been to a few shows before but they've always been with parents or other adults who did all the planning and everything for me. I'm planning on going to see Beauty and the Beast with a friend this week and I really have no idea how anything works. I've got a few questions that I'd be so happy if someone with experience could answer.

Is there one of those rules where minors have to be accompanied by a guardian or something?

Are student rush tickets only available to NYU students or to any students?

If student rush tickets aren't possible, what other ways would you guys suggest to get discounted tickets?

Is there anywhere near Lunt Fontanne Theatre to go to get a quick, cheap meal? I don't care if it's fast food or whatever, I'm just really unfamilar with the city so anything would be great.

Thanks a bunch to anyone who can answer these questions..and I might have a few more later, these are just the only ones I can think of right now.

NYU has "deals" on tickets, but student rush tickets. which are available to anyone with a student id, are cheaper and usually have better seats. Oh, and there's no rule about being accompanied by a guardian unless you're under 4.

Thank you so much for the info. I think I'll try for the student rush tickets then, unless it's supposed to rain. =P

Cheap meals are hard to come by in that area.
If you have ten bucks to spend have a grilled cheese and french fries at the Edison (next to the Lunt, in the Hotel)
and you will probably see a few actors eating their also.
Mrs. Potts loves the Matzoh Ball soup.
