I've turned off adblocker but still get nagged about it

Re-enable it and just refresh the page when you get the nag. I am sure that everyone knows that the ads are a main source of revenue for the site, but they never listened when we complained about numerous particularly large and annoying ads. It is because of those ads on this site that I downloaded adblocker in the first place.

don't turn it off - just wait til it pops up  the first time and hit the blue box.  It will go away for your visit
