Capn, answer this question and I'll stop bashing you (even though it's so easy) WHY DO YOU CARE IF A NEW THREAD IS STARTED? what does it matter to you? You're not being charged 20 dollars each time a new thread is started!

It pushes other threads to the next page (other valuable threads)...also, it gets annoying when there is already one large thread discussing it...

Creating multiple threads on the same topic clutters up the board and it's just a waste of space. All posts concerning Idina's injury and subsequent early removal from the show can all be contained in the thread with nearly 400 other posts on the same topic.

And in my own personal opinion, I feel you should really reconsider your treatment of other BWW.com members, especially those veterans such as Capn; that last thing you want is to be hated on this board due to your vocal dislike of other members.

And quite frankly, it's just plain rude. Peter Pan is one of my favorite musicals--the first one I ever saw as a child--and one of the best-known and most-adored musicals ever written. THe story of Peter Pan has been around for many many years and will continue to live on. Unless you've never heard the story, it's about a lot more than a boy who doesn't grow up.

Just think before you post next time. It's all I'm saying.

Because there is absolutely no reason for 5 threads to exist on the SAME topic. There is one large thread for this, use it! I normally disagree with the people who freak out over the large number of Wicked threads, but for this instance, updates are being made all the time, just use the one big thread...its easier! No one has to sort through all the mini threads. Good grief.

Sorry to bump up another thread (that is not the "Main thread"), but since a few people asked. I have heard that Ticketmaster is not offering refunds because the show has not been cancelled. The Gershwin IS offering refunds (we were there), no questions asked.

The rush WAS nuts !!! I asked a few people on the lottery and cancellation lines if they knew Idina was out. Some did... some didnt... and some didnt know who she was :))

They just wanted to see the show. Yep, Emcee... it was at 3. Totally lost track of time when I posted about the refunds. They were offering them PRIOR to 3 PM.
