WORLD’S TOP CABARET & BROADWAY PERFORMERS GATHER FOR DUETS CONCERT, BILLED AS THE BIGGEST OF ITS KIND IN L.A. THIS SUMMER

The live concert, co-produced by veteran L.A. theater presenter, Rob O’Neil, and sponsored in part by Crystal Cruises and Continental Airlines will benefit Operation USA, the 25 year-old international relief organization known for supplying emergency medical supplies and housing to victims of natural disasters, is planned for Sun., July 10, at the John Anson Ford Amphitheater in Hollywood, Calif. A new, upcoming duets recording, “In Good Company,” is the basis for the California concert, which could help build some 100 houses for displaced families under the auspices of the non profit agency, Operation USA (www.operationusa.org), says cabaret star and album producer, Lee Lessack. The “In Good Company” CD, poised for release July 12, features veteran crooner Lessack, dueting with 17 “cabaret stars,” from Maureen McGovern to Michael Feinstein and Grammy® award winner Stephen Schwartz, whose latest songwriting triumph is “Wicked,” the runaway Broadway hit. Other cabaret favorites on the CD include Nita Whitaker, Susan Egan, Jon Philip Alman, Mary Jo Mundy, Johnny Rodgers, Joanne O’Brien, Susan Werner, David Burnham, Amanda Mc Broom, Ken Page and Stacy Sullivan.
