Believe it or not, there is not a thread on this yet.
Does anyone know if there is a rush policy for IN THE HEIGHTS?
Thanks.
Is the show big enough for a rush? Anyway, at Broadwaybox.com they have a nice discount.
Ticket code for $36 orchestra and front mezz
They do have a student rush. They only sell a few seats. It is 2 hours before curtain. They are $25.
Thanks for the discount code, RainbowHigh2. And thanks for the rush info, OnMyWay. Do you happen to know where the seats are located for rush?
I don't know where the seats are, but 37 Arts is so tiny that I think anywhere would be a good seat.
Is it a student rush for sure or just lottery? I was reading today--can't remember the web site--that there was a $25 lotto for IN THE HEIGHTS but couldn't find any info on student rush.
When I saw the show in March, it was a student rush. The tickets were $25.00 and they sold one per valid ID. The seats are the very front row. The stage is elevated so you have to look up for the entire show. You'll need a neck rub at intermission. But it's worth it. Fun Show.

I saw the show this week. The tickets are sold on a "first come, first served" basis. The show was GREAT. I'd also check TDF or TKTS for cheap tickets. I paid $25 for excellent seats in the orchestra. The theatre is very small (seats under 500 I think)and it didn't look to me like there were any truly awful seats. I really wanted to see Karen Olivo, who was out when I went this week, so I'll be going back soon.
