I want to see a season (or more practically from a network standpoint, one episode per season) where the show interviews a fully non-name working actor. Preferably an actor of the stage, but also film/television.

LOL! I honestly expected to open the thread and it read "Rosie O'Donnell"!
And I agree. I think they should definitely interview stage actors.
They do interview A-list actors who have done Broadway. They recently did Nathan Lane & Matthew Broderick together, and also Liza Minelli. But they also did films.
It'd be great, yes, if they include more "Broadway" names, but my thought was to interview successful no-name actors who do a lot of regional work.
I couldn't agree more. It's like rubbing salt in a wound when I see the low caliber of some of the so-called 'actors' they've interviewed on that show. 'Personalities' - yes. But actors? No way.
You know what i DONT want to see? Martin Lawrence, Jennifer Lopez, Barbara Walters...the list goes on. Amen to getting REAL actors on the show.
Did they REALLY have Barbara Walters??? That is EXACTLY why I stopped watching the show.
Upcoming new episodes feature Al Pacino, Dustin Hoffman, Tom Hanks, Don Cheadle, and Robert Downey Jr. See, there is light at the end of the tunnel.

As long as the show has that consummate creep James Lipton conducting the ass-lickings, sorry, interviews, the show will remain unwatchable for me.
