Question:
I have an audition for INTO THE WOODS...
they want us to sing something with a lot of lyrics , "prominent" was their exact request.....
I would like to do something belty. I have a very high soprano belt, but can also sing pretty low, and I have a legit soprano range as well.....
I'm auditioning for Little Red I think but I'm open to anything....anyone have any suggestions??? I'd really appreciate it!

I played Little Red, and I actually auditioned with "Part of Your World" from The Little Mermaid.
They told us as well to try to find an audition piece that was "wordy", but I just thought I sounded more like a Little Red in the song I auditioned with.
My friend who was The Baker's Wife auditioned with a part of "The Speed Test" from Millie. It has alot of words and is uptempo. Maybe that could work for you.
Sorry I'm not much help!
