Idea time again, what shows to see?

I'm planning my trip in mid to late june, i think thats when work will slow down (right now working weekends)

SOoooo i am thinking of seeing -

Pajama Game
LeStat
Avenue Q
Wedding singer??

Any other suggestions??
i've seen so far ... rent,piazza,drs,chicago, wicked,sweeney,spelling bee, spam .... i think thats it for the ones that are out now.

soo :) is my selection good? bad? any alts i should consider .

Pajama Game is sold out but you should deff try the cancellation line.
LeStat I would wait to see what people say about it so far I've heard its majorly improved
Avenue Q -HOW HAVE YOU NOT SEEN IT YET??? #1 GO SEE IT NOW
Wedding singer Again wait to see what people say

And I would say go see Tarzan it seems really cool and disney is always amazing
Also Color Purple and JErsey BOys are both amazing!!!

Kasim,
I am seeing Lestat, Wedding Singer, and Pajama Game in May so obviously think those are good choices. However, Pajama Game is sold out so unless you plan on going to a broker and paying a lot, this is probably off of your list. I am also seeing Tarzan and Color Purple so you may wish to consider those too.

Why don't you see a play this time around? There are some great things coming in from London, ie. FESTEN and the HISTORY BOYS.

AVENUE Q is a must, but out of town reviews for WEDDING SINGER and LESTAT were awful! I saw LESTAT in San Francisco and it was like throwing away $100 into the street!

Again, SEE A PLAY, and I don't mean paying $100 to see the ODD COUPLE. Live a little, take a risk and you may come away with a truly unforgettable experience!

My best friend knows somebody in the cast and went to see Pajama Game, and said, although it is good she thinks that it is not $100+ good, she said if you really want to see Pajama Game, go to any high school across America. I think Avenue Q is great though. I also agree with the seeing a play comment, right now if you ask me Doubt is great, and student rush is only like $21.00 and the two times that I have done it i ended up sitting in the Orchestra. Also, I dont know if this is you're cup of tea but Sweeney Todd, is so amazing I can't stand it. I sent my friend who is not really into all that kind of theater stuff and he was blown away and he will talk about it with whom ever will listen. However if you like the spectical shows, I recomend all that you have listed.

eh i like seeeing things , so the money part really doesnt bother me.

In all fairness its my time to go out there is more valuable. I see a few single seats on ebay, so i might for one of those

kasim- It's called, "I love you, you're perfect, now change." lol. Or at least that's what I think you meant.

I saw it at a little community theatre here in Florida and it was cute. I'm not sure I would spend 'Broadway kind of money' to see it but it was a cute show.
If you don't have much time in NYC, personally, I'd say skip that one.

Edit: Avenue Q is a MUST SEE!

I saw The Lieutenent of Inishmore tonight, and that was one of the best nights of theatre I have had in a long time. But it is very weird, so if you don't like weird, I wouldn't suggest going to see this.

You've got some good choices. I would probably add Jersey Boys and Drowsy Chaperone to your list though! :)
