Ideas for European Trip (Please Help!)

Hi everyone,

I know this is the Broadway board but I also know that many of you are well traveled and I could seriously use some help. For my History of European Theatre class I need to plan out a three week trip to Europe that includes visits to historical theatre sites and also contemporary performances. I'm having trouble finding a whole lot of stuff; I'd like to get to London, France and probably Italy. Any ideas of performances that are running or other sites that I could visit on here? I've already got some easier found activities such as visiting The Globe Theatre and seeing a performance of Billy Elliot on the West End. Thanks so much in advance for anything you might be able to suggest!!

Since 2000, the Greek stage musical Rembetiko, adapted from the film of the same name, has played at various times in the Balkans, Middle East and North Africa. You may want to investigate if a production is under way somewhere. The soundtrack of the stage version is here:
