Ideas for NYC school trip

My school is hosting a trip in the spring (probably april or may) and I was wondering if you guys have any ideas for B'way shows that would be good to see (keep in mind that it is an all girls school therefore Rent is out)
also probably an older show since we need like 50 tickets!

I'd say Wicked or Little Women but too current. I wish 42nd Street wasn't closing! Maybe Fiddler?

April and May are very busy times for NYC tourism, and for Broadway shows as well, so it's smart to plan ahead asap.
Wicked and Hairspray are both very "popular", and deservedly so, can't go wrong with either one.
Little Women sounds very promising, and this is a chance to see a legend in the makeing, Sutton Foster.
Wonderful Town is also a good choice.

hairspray,wicked, mamma mia and bklyn are a few of my favs.
