I know I'll probably be stoned for saying this but oh well...
I personally can't wait for her to leave (I think she's GREAT, don't get me wrong). But if Stephanie Block takes over the role, and there is a lot of rumor about her doing so, I'd be the happiest person on earth. JLT and SJB, my two favorite broadway ladies in the same show...what could be better? Maybe I'll finally understand what all the hype is about this show...

Posted: 8/4/04 at 8:57pmWell I'm seeing Wicked for the 2nd time on Tuesday the 10th, so I'll get to see the wonderful Ms Idina one last time. I am pretty excited...I don't hate Wicked. I thought it was pretty enjoyable when I saw it in March, and I listen to the cast recording every time and again. I'm actually more excited this time around...Anyone else going next Tuesday? Posted: 8/4/04 at 8:58pmI always like to see someone else's take on a role, especially a part like Elphaba...I've never heard Stephanie Block (again, no stones!) but I'm sure she would be great lol. I would like to see Idina, though, before she leaves (saw Eden last time and she was great!)

Posted: 8/4/04 at 9:01pmI saw Stephanie at the Birdland this past Monday night, and she absolutely blew me away. If she doesn't take over the part of Elphaba, I hope they revive Funny Girl for her, b/c she really needs to be in another show. She is great is The Boy From Oz...we're all going to see a lot from her in the future...I know it!

I'd also like to see Stephanie J. Block take over the role when Idina leaves the show. Wasn't she in the SFO workshop of the show ?
