Idina + Chicago? Ehhh, probably not.
But I do see her as a phenomenal Momma Rose in the next revival of Gypsy in 13 years. (There seems to be revivals of the show every 14 years.)

Idina as Velma? Ehh...
I love Idina, but seeing all these posts of Idina as _____ (is there a role that this girl can not play?! 
) tends to drive me crazy! But that's just me. I think that she's very good, but I don't think that she can play almost every part in musical theater.
