This is good news! I love this show.

Posted: 12/2/03 at 10:11pmI hate to be a killjoy, but everything had a box office surge in ticket sales, *least* of all, LS. Evenan old chestnut like B&TB had an almost 400,000 jump in sales during the Holiday weekend. Doesn't mean that "word of mouth is catching on". It didn't make the top 5.

Al-
Many times your posts, although clearly slanted have some elements of truth.
I hate to be a killjoy (no.. Don't think you really hate being the killjoy when it comes to this show. But humor noted)
but everything had a box office surge in ticket sales (actually, 8 shows were minus sales from the previous week)
*least* of all, LS. (This must be your opinion on stats, because from the report on playbill.com, LSOH had the greatest increase percentagewise above all other shows. Financially, only BatB had a higher gross change)
Even an old chestnut like B&TB had an almost 400,000 jump in sales during the Holiday weekend. (indeed)
Doesn't mean that "word of mouth is catching on". (But doesn't mean it hasn't -- see "hate to be a killjoy"... The holiday weekend bumped many shows - especially ones geared for families. We'll see if they maintain ticket sales at this level...)
Hope you had a happy thanksgiving Al

Hey, Al was just making something clear, even if it might not be true. Just be thankful he was nice.

"Al was just making something clear, even if it might not be true. "
What's the point in making something clear if it's not true? It just causes problems.
