WOOHOO! Congrats to everyone!
Any chance of STUFF HAPPENS coming to Broadway? Or has that shipped sailed already?

I'm very sorry I missed Stuff Happens--I hear it was better than Hare's other play this year, The Vertical Hour, which I actually did see. I don't think Stuff Happens has the momentum to transfer anymore though. We're already seeing that people aren't willing to go see serious plays that are topical, such as Journey's End (probably the most thrilling night at a play I've experienced in a long while).
I'm psyched for Sherie and Spring Awakening too. Congrats everyone!
Does anyone know if Blackbird was eligible for the Lortels this year? It seems strange to me that it would be so completely dismissed.

Congratulations to the winners.
Sucks that "Gutenberg! the Musical" was vastly better than "In the Heights" and therefore much more deserving of that particular win.

I agree about Gutenberg The Musical. I saw it the 2006 NYMF, and It's the most clever musical I have seen in years. Hopefully it will get it's due at the Drama Desk Awards in two weeks.
I am also thrilled about Sherie winning. She was the most memorable part of Landscape of the Body for me.

Posted: 5/8/07 at 11:23pmhow come they don't have "best actor/actress & supporting" for musicals?
