In The Heights Off-Broadway Question

I know from seeing the opening night vid of the original Off-Broadway production of In The Heights that there was a scene with Kevin and Camila on the fire escape kissing. When did this scene occur in the show and why was it cut?

It was a scene right before the finale started. Kevin and Camilla are discussing investing in the restaurant Camilla references in the dinner scene in act 1. So I assume it was cut because of the rewrites to the book.
