I absolutely adore this song (it's probably my most played from the OBC CD of Curtains), so I was wondering (and hoping!) whether it had ever been videoed for posterity.
IMHO it would be a real shame if not.
I love that song too. There was awhile where I had to play it several times a day. "...oh would you forget about he murders!"
Yes, "In the Same Boat", which was written around the same time as Chicago in 1973, is a very charming song and yes, Curtains has been taped for the Lincoln Center Library, at least I think so. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Are you talking about the final version of the song?

Well... yes... it has been videotaped... and... ummm... some people own a copy... cough cough....

This song was used in an Irish Panto I saw a few months ago. But I can't remember if it was Beauty and the Beast or Snow White.
I'm pretty sure that you're right, JV- that it was taped for the Lincoln Center Library?
Yes, it was recorded. Karen Ziemba busted out possibly the best performance of "Thataway" of the run on that day.
*sigh* I love this show. And I love her! She was SO nice at stagedoor.
