I'm very happy to say that my Drama Club is heading out East this Spring Break for a Broadway tour. It's all very exciting and such, mostly because we get to see 3 shows.
Now, we've gotten word that we won't be able to see Wicked, Spamalot, Rent, or Mamma Mia while we're there, something to do with our group number and ticket sales.
So, i want to ask all of you who've had an opportunity to see all the shows playing out there, what would you recommend? We're going to be there the week of April 2nd-8th (not all those days).
Take them to see Chita - How can you go wrong with Broadway Royalty?

Hairspray or Spelling Bee might be options for your group. I'm assuming that you're in high school.

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Definitely.
ALSO: Doubt, dog sees god (off-bway)
Spelling Bee, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, and Sweeney Todd.
Although my opinion is far from humble...
Pajama Game will be open and The Wedding Singer will be in previews, those might be fun options.
And I definetly third DRS if you're in highschool.

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and Hairspray! Two GREAT ones!

I really want to see Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, it's just a matter of convincing everyone else.
Some of my group were talking about seeing Light In the Piazza, and i'm curious if it'll still be running, and if it's worth it.
As for Wedding Singer, we're from the Seattle area, and i'm seeing it near the end of the run here.
Oh, I'm sorry, I thought you were a teacher taking your class - I'm having my "BLONDE" moment, lol!
Light in the Piazza, Sweeney Todd definitely.
The third choice is harder. Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Hairspray, Pajama Game, Color Purple would be my options. Perhaps Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, being a comedy, would round out my two other choices.
