The ITBA was recently established in NYC consisting of numerous bloggers who post regularly on theater in and around NY (myself included). We just presented our first ever awards, celebrating the best of the season on Broadway, off-Broadway and off-off Broadway.

The winners include:

Best Broadway Play:

Best Broadway Musical:
"Billy Elliot"

Best Broadway Revival of a Musical:
"Hair"

Best Broadway Revival of a Play:
"The Norman Conquests"

Best Off-Broadway Musical:

Best Off-Broadway Play:
"Ruined"

Best Off-Broadway Revival (Play or Musical):
"Our Town"

Best Off-Off Broadway Play:
"Universal Robots"

Best Off-Off Broadway Unique Theatrical Experience:
"Suspicious Package"

Citation for Excellence in Off-Off Broadway Theater:
Flux Theatre Ensemble

There isn't going to be a traditional awards ceremony; however, in the coming weeks video blog acceptance speeches will be posted to our website, so keep checking in!
