Inishmore

I cannot help it! I am in love with the show and I am so pleased that Inishmore is doing well on sales. I am glad to see Broadway having such a strong season. That is super news.

Domhall Gleeson is darling!!!! What a fun actor and what a superb performance.

re: Inishmore

Well, I wouldn't really call this a strong seasons, but I am glad you enjoyed the show! I loved it as well! It was horribly dark, gorey, and amazingly funny.

Will this stay open for a while if it remains around 70%. It might be able to if the show doesn't cost that much to run.

P.S. I love the show to. Check the avatar.

re: Inishmore

I luuuuurv Inishmore AND The History Boys.

Not to be snarky or anything, but Holly repeatedly brings up her disslike for The History Boys in Inishmore threads. No one has ASKED her opinions on The History Boys, she just gives them when people start threads like "I just Inishmore and loved it, what do you think!?" She'll respond than add...

POSTS BY HOLLY ON INISHMORE LOVE THREADS (unprevoked):

We also attended History Boys and walked out at Intermission. By the way, we were not the only folks to walk out that night. I do not care if History Boys is winning most of the awards so far. What matters is what we thought of it (since we paid over $100 per head) and what you thought.

I will say it again -- I did not think History Boys had much substance. It has been done before. I especially was surprised by Scenic Design. I thought their sets were very boring. Although I thought the Boys' characters were "cute" I did not think there was much great acting from the group.

McDonagh's Inishmore was incredible. Actually, I was not sure I would like this play given the subject matter. It deserved to win Best Play from the Lortel Awards and should win the 2006 Tony. We expected The History Boys to be the best but were disappointed. We left at intermission. It was indeed overhyped.

re: Inishmore

HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM. Let me see if I understand ths. I need for you to ask me to say what I think about History Boys or anything else. Gee, whenever I read someone's critical thoughts regarding a show, I will make sure to note whether they were asked to share that or not. Make sure you are consistent. Do not give your opinion unless you are asked.
