Back to Shirley Temple -- who DID star in a one-hour adaptation of Baum's "The Marvelous Land of Oz" (parts of which were also used in the film RETURN TO OZ) in her 60s anthology TV series.

"a star is born" is a masterpiece. i watch it often.

Who the hell would be courageous enough to attempt to portray Garland in this musical? No there's a role that any actress would be picked to pieces for attempting!
