I the way she sings "liiiike silver" in On My Own.

I prefer her version to anyone else's (yes, including Lea Salonga and Sutton Foster).

She's actually my least favorite Eponine. She does have a great voice, but I can't stand her rendition of "On My Own" compared to others, especially Sutton. For some reason, it just bothers me, especially when she goes down a note early in "I've only been pretending," whereas others hold it out longer before stepping down. But good to hear from her again in recent times. :)

I'm with you Blue Roses...I have seen her and Lea Salonga both in the show, and she was by far the best 'Eponine' (my favorite character in the show)...

That was an interesting read. Thank you for sharing! I admit, though, she is not my favorite Eponine on recording. Frances has her good points, but there are a few times where I think she gets a little whinny.

If I was interviewing her, I would have asked Frances what advice she has for Lea Michele, who is going to play Eponine in the revival.

Nice interview, she's my favorite Eponine.

I especially love her in "Attack on Rue Plumet."

I know Im gonna get bashed, but I think most ppl love her in the WE until she did Roxie.
I saw her on the Les Mis concert DVD (not the 10th anni one) and thought she sounded like a cat being stranggled! But she does have a very cute character. But seeing her live as Roxie was just one of the worst things I have ever sat thru in theatre!
Saying tht, she's extremely pretty and nice at the stagedoor! And she does NOT look that old to have 3 kids, including one of the them is 18! She looks more like her late 20s to be honest!

I like her audition story for Les Mis. That's interesting that she was the first person cast.
