Here's my interview with composer David Krane and lyricist/book writer Stephen Cole whose outrageous musical 'The Road to Qatar!' is playing at The York Theatre. Sadly, your interview was far more interesting than the musical it references. I thought The Road to Qatar a bore. None of the charm that comes across so clearly in your article can be seen - or felt - on stage. The music is bland and completely forgettable. The book even worse. There were a few laughs, but they were few and far between.

Great interview, although I fear it will inspire people to see this lackluster show.
